Plans and credits

Reading filings is free and requires no account. The paid plans add AI credits, exports, and higher limits. Here is how it works.

What is always free

These cost no credits and require no paid plan:

  • Reading any filing, in the clean layout, with the tables intact.
  • Searching, jumping to sections, and the contents list.
  • Growth and common-size views.
  • Copying a single table to your clipboard.
  • Comparing a filing to an earlier one, which never uses AI.

Reading requires no account. The AI features require a free one.

How credits work

AI actions spend credits. Each plan comes with a pool of them. On the Standard model, the costs are:

  • Run Sift on a filing: 3 to 10 credits by length, charged once per run.
  • Ask this filing chat message: 3 credits.
  • Analyze a table: 3 credits.
  • Ask AI a question: 2 credits.

Sift is priced by how much there is to read. A short filing under 2,000 words costs 3 credits, a mid-size one under 15,000 words costs 6, and a full report costs 10. Most 8-Ks, Schedule 13s and ownership forms land in the first tier, and annual and quarterly reports in the last. The Run Sift button always shows the price for the filing you have open, so you know before you spend.

Stronger models cost more. The Pro model multiplies the cost by 10, and the Max model by 30. So a 10-credit Sift run is 100 credits on the Pro model and 300 on the Max model. The Standard model is a good default, and it is what a free account uses.

The plans

Free

Starts with 100 credits when you make an account, enough to Sift a good number of filings on the Standard model, or up to 30 messages in the "Ask this filing" chat. You can save up to 10 filings across 3 folders, and keep up to 20 notes per filing. When credits run low, buy more anytime.

Analyst

1,000 credits a month, which covers up to 330 chat messages if you spend them on nothing else. Adds the stronger AI models, exports to CSV, Excel, Markdown, and PDF, merging similar tables across filings, and custom Ask AI buttons. Save up to 120 filings across 100 folders, and keep 100 notes per filing.

Pro

3,000 credits a month, up to 1,000 chat messages if you spend them on nothing else, and the cheapest top-ups. Everything in Analyst, plus room to save up to 250 filings across 200 folders, and keep 300 notes per filing.

Note: Credits are one shared pool, so the chat numbers above are ceilings, not separate allowances. Spending credits on Sift or Analyze leaves fewer for chat.

Changing, pausing, and cancelling

Change your plan on the pricing page. Upgrades and switches to annual apply right away, and you pay the new plan minus credit for time you already paid for. Annual back to monthly also applies right away, and your unused annual time turns into account credit that covers your next bills. Moving down a tier waits until your period ends.

Monthly plans can also pause for 1, 3, or 6 months. Nothing is charged while a plan is paused, your monthly credits stop until billing restarts, and credits you bought as top-ups stay yours. Cancelling lives under Manage subscription in the account menu.

Buying more credits

On any plan, you can buy one-time top-up packs when you need them, in two sizes: 250 credits and 750 credits. Paid plans get cheaper top-ups. You see the exact price before you buy.
